I think your word was a success. The black and white looks great. You did a good job with the contrast and brightness. Every individual photo is edited to it's best. The only thing I would change is the last photo isn't the same size as the rest.

I think this alphabet art is great. I could easily tell what the word was just by looking at it for two seconds. I think you came up with good ideas to represent the letters. Also the black and white is successful because nothing is distracting the viewer from the letters.
